InforMED is an innovative start-up seeking to help doctors focus on patients by offering an easy-to-use tracker that helps doctors understand, track and fulfil their constantly changing, continuing education requirements.

The challenge

InforMED’s vision is clear and ambitious. Their one-stop, any-time, any-device platform learning management platform will

  • Track continuing-education credits for individual physicians and practices
  • Remind individuals and practice managers about looming requirements
  • Identify, interpret and communicate new emerging requirements
  • Recommend coursework based on specialty, requirements and previous coursework
  • Present cost effective strategies for staying current

 

InforMED engaged Usability.org to to apply a “don’t-make-me-think” strategy to the interaction design, and wrap it in creative design that could capture both the attention and trust of Health Care Professionals.

The solution

Usability.org worked closely with InforMED leadership evolve the business strategy from a credibility and persuasive design perspective. We transformed the developers’ working wireframes into intuitive dashboards that help physicians quickly see key information and make informed decisions. We reshaped the interaction into a conversion funnel, adding seductive moments filled with credible recommendations, to increase both customer engagement and commitment. Then we created a crisp, stunning visual design.
